David’s background is a little different than most in the payments industry. Before joining SecurityMetrics, he spent two decades as an officer in the Oakland Police Department in myriad different roles: tactical team commander, hostage negotiator, cybercrime lead among others. At SecurityMetrics, David is responsible for investigating and staying one step ahead of payments fraudsters.
David and Amy discussed David’s experiences and insights in this field, as well as trends and threats on the horizon for eCommerce.
