TRANSACT Tech San Francisco brought venture capitalists, payments leaders, software innovators, SMB owners, government representatives and next-gen players together for an agenda packed with insightful discussion at the Terra Gallery in the Soma District of San Francisco.

TTSF attendees enjoyed panels that focused on the changing landscape of payments technology and the importance of investment and partnerships in the development of new payments innovations.

Attendees heard from keynote speakers Dan Saks, co-CEO of AppDirect; Rich Aberman, co-Founder of WePay; and Matt Brennan, Global Head of Worldwide Strategy at Apple.

Panels included a business owners roundtable with local SMB owners are leveraging software to improve their payments capabilities, a look at the consumer experience with leading point-of-sale developers, a discussion on investing in payments with major Silicon Valley venture capitalists, a dive into partnership-brokering with payments leaders, and a working lunch with Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco FinTech official Gerald Tsai.
