How to Get the Most out of TRANSACT Connect
5-8-2020

It’s important to go into TRANSACT Connect with a game plan to fully capitalize on the opportunities to network and learn from your industry colleagues. Here are five key steps you can take to get the most of the virtual event.
- Download the TRANSACT Connect App to Unlock Next-Level Networking Tools
TRANSACT Connect is at its core a networking event – we want you to feel as connected to your customers, prospects and professional network as you would at an in-person event. The best way to do that is to use the TRANSACT Connect app – powered by Grip, an artificial intelligence platform designed to help facilitate quality connections and sales leads. When you register and create your profile, the platform takes the work out of networking through intelligent matchmaking to constantly learn about your professional goals and interest to give you a higher return on your time.
All networking and 1:1 meetings take place within the Grip platform, using Grip’s video conferencing tool.
For example, suppose you work for an ISV looking to make connections with payment facilitation experts. Our networking app will automatically make recommendations and introductions to key leaders in the payment facilitation space at the show, and help you set up meetings during the event.
You can also access this functionality through a desktop web browser or app on your smartphone,
- Make a Plan to Attend Panels and Keynotes Live
The TRANSACT Connect event website will be the place to watch keynotes plus the four educational tracks. Plan out your schedule and then tune into the TRANSACT Connect website so that you can easily attend the panel discussions and keynotes as they happen.
- Engage with Speakers as Panels Happen
Once your plan is set, put it into action by engaging in real-time with speakers and other attendees during keynotes and educational sessions. The TRANSACT Connect event web platform is designed to be completely interactive, so attendees can ask questions, make observations, talk to presenters and connect with other attendees as sessions happen. The best way to take advantage of the content is to do so live, so you can engage and connect with the other attendees and speakers.
- Plan for Ample Time on the Virtual Show Floor
Like any trade show, it all comes down to the show floor. But what does a virtual show floor look like? At TRANSACT Connect, the show floor lives in the event website, in the same place as the educational sessions and keynotes. The virtual trade show booths feature a chat feature to connect and ask questions, plus virtual resources and product demos, information and more. Use the TRANSACT networking app to make connections with exhibitors at any point in the show. Used together, the virtual show floor and networking app will help you connect with those key partners – whether their sales channel organizations, payment processors, tech companies, card networks, security firms or other payments tech organizations.
- Leverage session video on demand and 24/7 access
Busy schedules are the norm these days so we have consolidated the bulk of the agenda to four-hours each day. Regardless of what your schedule looks, the TRANSACT Connect platform and networking features will be accessible 24/7 during May 11-15 to accommodate all schedules and time zones. All panels and keynotes will be available on demand, at the end of each day, so you can catch up on key topics if you have a conflict with the live broadcast.
