ETA Statement on USMCA Implementation Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. — December 19, 2019 — The following statement can be attributed to Jodie Kelley, Chief Executive Officer of the Electronic Transactions Association:

“ETA applauds Congress for its hard work in ratifying the USMCA trade agreement. This agreement strengthens the position of our country to lead on cross-border digital commerce and advances the growth of American electronic payment products and services in North America. We thank Speaker Pelosi and Minority Leader McCarthy for their leadership in passing this critical agreement in a bipartisan fashion.”
