ETA Supports Phase One to Address Tariffs

The following statement can be attributed to Jodie Kelley, Chief Executive Officer of the Electronic Transactions Association:

“ETA applauds the Trump Administration for its first step in successful negotiations with China on the first phase of a trade deal. As trade talks progress, we encourage the Administration to work on reversing tariffs already in effect, including 15 percent tariffs on point-of-sale devices. These tariffs affect all U.S merchants and their customers. Relief would significantly lower costs to small businesses and consumers, promoting the growth of our national economy.”
