The Pie Tops synch to Pizza Hut’s mobile app, but no need to open the app when you have these sneaks – just press the button located in the shoe’s tongue, and your pizza is on its way to you, wherever you are. While these sneakers aren’t mass-produced, and are truly meant to promote the Pizza Hut / NCAA partnership, they do spotlight Pizza Hut’s innovative approach to payments. The company’s “Your Order, Your Way” page shows that Pizza Hut takes payments convenience seriously, and offers consumes numerous ways to order, including through Facebook Messenger, via Twitter by Direct Tweet, with your Amazon Alexa, on-line, by phone and now, with the Pie Top.
