PHOTO COVERAGE: ETA HOSTS PAYMENTS FLY-IN ON CAPITOL HILL

9-14-2017

ETA members took to the halls of the government yesterday as part of ETA’s annual Payments Fly-In on Capitol Hill, bringing the voice of payments directly to Members of the House, Senate and federal regulators.
Payments issues are coming into focus for Federal lawmakers and now more than ever is the time for the collective voice of the payments technology to be heard. On the Hill, payments executives from across ETA’s diverse membership participated in a day full of meetings with Members of Congress and Congressional aides to advocate on behalf of the payments industry. ETA members encouraged Congressional leaders to act on pressing policy considerations like establishing a uniform national standard for data breach notification and comprehensive corporate tax reform.
Across Washington, ETA members also met with federal regulators to encourage a positive regulatory environment that encourages innovation and American investment.
