October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month! Data security and risk management both online and offline are critical to the payments technology ecosystem. Payments technology companies will spend more on protecting consumers from fraud online than any other industry by 2021.
Potential losses for payments companies due to fraud online are not table stakes – one study found they are set to result in $130 billion in losses by 2023.
