It’s Time for Tax Reform
11-6-2017
The clocks might have gone backwards yesterday, but today is the day to start looking forward to a better tax system.
With the recent introduction of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in the House of Representatives, Congress is taking an important first step to reforming the current tax code.
The United States’ current tax code is the most complex and features one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world. Reforming the U.S. tax code will have a positive effect on ETA member companies and the U.S. economy. Now is the time show your support to strengthen the corporate tax system and stimulate the economy, grow jobs, and make U.S. firms more competitive both here and abroad.
As Congress moves forward with much-needed reform of the tax code, ETA will work with Congress to support this important issue. Click here to read our CEO Jason Oxman’s complete statement on tax reform. And don’t forget to follow @ElecTranAssoc for important advocacy updates.
