First Data Ups the Seahawks Concessions Game

ETA member-company First Data is partnering with Bypass, a point of sale innovator, to deliver game-changing service to concessions customers at the Seattle Seahawks’ CenturyLink Field. The hundreds of First Data Clover POS devices installed across the venue will deliver shorter lines and additional payments options, enhancing the fan experience.

Additionally, the information generated through consumer interactions across various in-stadium touch-points will enable custom offers, discounts and experiences catering to individual interests. The new system not only offers convenience, it also enhances security through both EMV and NFC’s layered protections.

In First Data’s press release on the partnership, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Business Solutions Dan Charron said, “We are proud to work with the Seahawks, an organization that is committed to improving the experience for their legions of diehard fans. The implementation at CenturyLink Field is an important step forward for our Clover family of solutions as it underscores the flexibility of the devices, as well as illustrates how they can be used to improve customer loyalty and satisfaction.”
