ETA Hosts Payments University on Capitol Hill
2-24-2017
ETA hosted its annual educational payments event on the U.S. Capitol yesterday. Entitled ETA University (ETAU), the day-long event, part of a series, convened leaders in the payments technology industry to educate staffers from Capitol Hill, regulators, law enforcement, and other trade associations, on the fundamentals of the payments industry that drives $6 trillion dollars in transactions annually. ETAU is part of ETA’s on-going educational event series for policymakers.
ETAU attendees were able to increase their working knowledge of fintech and the complex payments ecosystem through a day of education including sessions on mobile payments, online small business lending, new security technologies and data-breach preparedness.
ETA will hold our next policy event in Atlanta, the hub of payments technology in mid-April, please contact Grant Carlson, [email protected], for more details.
