Industry Affairs

ETA collaborates on key issues to find answers to business challenges and advance the technology, safety, and security of payments. Partnering with organizations that include EMVCo, PCI Security Standards Council, think tanks, and research organizations enables ETA to bring perspective and important information to move our industry closer to frictionless commerce.

Industry Affairs comprises the thought leadership and knowledge components of the payments industry and is driven by ETA members. Senior leaders in the field connect to exchange and study the latest developments in the field of payments technology. They do this through their participation in committees, the creation of industry guidelines, leading webinars, writing papers and blogs, and by connecting regularly online and in person.

ETA COMMITTEES AND COUNCILS

Being an ETA member firm ensures you a seat at the table where industry decisions are made. Now it’s up to you to lend your voice to the discussion.

Volunteers are an essential part of the ETA community. ETA committees are responsible for driving the development of the association’s core services, benefits and events. ETA councils are open advisory groups that work to provide understanding and leadership on a wide variety of payments issues to external stakeholders.
