ETA Statement Regarding H. Res. 835, a Bipartisan Resolution Supporting Financial Innovation
The Electronic Transactions Association applauds Congressmen Kinzinger and Cardenas for introducing H. RES.835, a bipartisan resolution urging the United States to adopt a policy to promote increased consumer access to financial technologies. As the trade association of the payments technology industry, ETA Member companies are driving financial innovation and deploying fintech products that are convenient, secure, and rewarding for American consumers. ETA understands that all citizens benefit when our financial system addresses our diverse needs. We look forward to working with Congressional leaders like Representatives Cardenas and Kinzinger to continue advancing policies that support innovation and growth in the fintech industry, increasing access to our nation’s financial systems, promoting financial literacy and forging new markets.
