ETA Hosts FinTech Event in NYC
March 01, 2016 – Today, ETA hosted TRANSACT Tech NYC, a one-day conference convening the most innovative players in payments — from established brands to disruptive startups — to network, hear from successful payments pioneers, and discuss the future of Fintech. Program topics included innovation in financial institutions, payments and security technology, mobile and digital wallets, and new small business lending products.
Fintech innovations are poised for enormous growth. From payments to peer-to-peer lending, a new generation of tech companies are revolutionizing this growing industry. The financial monitoring company Call Levels reports that approximately $40 billion was invested in Fintech world-wide during 2015. TRANSACT Tech NYC was the premier opportunity for entrepreneurs possessing authentic understanding of tomorrow’s commerce solutions to connect with strategic buyers, and to delve deep into alternatives to traditional financial services.
Event highlights included Alternate Finance Innovation with OnDeck Chief Marketing Officer Andrea Gellert; Investing in Payments Technology with industry insiders Fenway Summer Ventures and FinTech Collective; Retail E-Commerce: The Future of Shopping, a conversation featuring next-frontier retailers; Alternative Financing Going Mainstream, a conversation on creative capital; and Commerce in the Digital Age from MasterCard Star Path Global Lead Stephane Wyper.
Transaction Tech NYC is the latest in ETA’s series of networking and educational events in the fast-growing technology hubs around the country, including the recent TRANSACT Tech San Francisco.
