ETA Concludes Biggest SLF Event

October 15, 2015 – The final day of ETA SLF 2015 is underway, and we’re ending on a strong note. Over the last few days, this gathering has brought the industry’s innovators, thought leaders, and powerhouse legacies under one roof to dream up the next generation of great ideas in payments.

This morning, we heard from Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema, a member of the House Committee on Financial Services, who spoke candidly on her support for new technologies making payments easier and safer for Americans.

Still ahead, senior executives from each of the payment networks will share early data and insights on the current status of the EMV migration in the much-anticipated panel titled, “And So it Begins… Checking in With the EMV Migration”.  Then, “Big Data – Making it Actionable for SMB Merchants”, takes a practical look at how merchants already use big data and the opportunities that lie ahead.

To wrap up this afternoon, we convene the CEO Roundtable- the Processors, with Robert Carr, Chairman and CEO of Heartland Payment Systems, Max Narro, President of Worldpay US Small Business, Mark Pyke, Senior EVP & President, of Merchant Services, TSYS and Jeff Sloan, CEO of Global Payments.

Any SLF attendee will tell you that the opportunity to connect with your high-level executive peers – without interruptions or distractions – is what makes this gathering unrivaled in the industry. More than 35% of the audience this week were first time SLF attendees. ETA is thrilled with our attendees’ energy and engagement, and we encourage everyone to register early to make the cut for ETA SLF 2016, which will be held at the Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.

Thanks to all our executive attendees and presenters, who have made this year’s ETA SLF an amazing success, and we look forward to seeing the partnerships cemented at ETA SLF 2015 grow and thrive!
