ETA and The Strawhecker Group Release ISV Infographic Ahead of TRANSACT
4-16-2018
Software partnerships and the growing presence of ISVs are of critical importance to the industry, and they’re taking center stage this week at TRANSACT, the world’s largest payments technology show. That’s why the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) teamed up with The Strawhecker Group, a leading payments consulting firm, to explore the new significance that these new software players are taking in the payments marketplace.
“Software: The Future of Payments is Integrated” gives an overlook of the ISV marketplace. Some highlights include:
• ISVs are the fastest growing sales channel in payments, experiencing 122 percent growth from 2010 to 2017.
• Merchants rely on ISVs to integrate their other cloud-based services – like marketing, inventory and human resources – into their payments acceptance systems. The infographic takes a look at how Kindful helps organizations raise funds and manage data.
• Merchants are loyal to ISVs. On average, U.S. merchants that process payments via an ISV have 4 percent less account attrition than all other merchants.
• Acquirers have made significant investments in building partnerships with ISVs.
