PayPal-Vodafone Partnership Brings Options to U.K. Consumers
10-11-2016
U.K. Residents have gained another option for convenient payments: Vodafone customers with Android phones can now tap to pay in-store with funds deducted directly from the user’s PayPal Account. Previously, consumers were limited to linking a credit card in Vodafone’s mobile wallet app, Vodafone Pay.
Vodafone Pay features NFC payments, powered through contactless SIM, allowing users to use their preferred payments option whether the phone is on or off. The tap-to-pay system is also compatible with London’s Underground and busses. To protect customers, contactless transactions are typically limited to £30 or less, but larger transactions can be completed through PIN confirmation.
