Greetings from ETA’s 2015 Strategic Leadership Forum!
October 13, 2015 – Today marks the first day of ETA’s Strategic Leadership Forum, the premier payments networking event. Every year, the industry’s high-level players and their executive teams gather to receive the latest insights from the experts and network with their peers. This year, we’re meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the historic and serene Camelback Inn. Against the breathtaking desert backdrop, we’re ready to engage in the serious conversations that drive payments innovation and promote growth in our industry.
Day One kicks off with a round of 18 on Camelback’s Padre Golf Course. Next, we’re excited to have W.Net (Women in Electronic Transactions) host its quarterly meeting onsite. Then, our programming turns to the local payments scene. Michelle Tinsley, Director of Mobility and Secure Payment Retail Solutions at Intel Corporation will offer an overview of Arizona’s leaders in payments innovation and share exciting news about the local FinTech and Financial Services landscape. She’ll speak on-stage with Jim Goulka, Managing Director of Arizona Tech Investors, David Riddiford, President of Apriva and Randy Gustafson, Vice President of Innovation for the Arizona Commerce Authority, and show the audience why payments are “hot” in Phoenix!
Today’s programming continues with a high-level roundtable featuring the CEOs of the newest, brightest FinTech startups. Panelists include Irv Henderson, CEO of talech, Chip Kahn, CEO of Boomtown, Georgina Nelson, CEO & Founder of truRating, Michael Reitblat, CEO & Co-Founder of Forter. The roundtable will be moderated by Dan Rosen, Partner at Commerce VC. The evening will conclude with a keynote from MCX CEO Brian Mooney, whose talk will provide insights into the company’s new CurrentC platform.
The next three days promise high-impact programming and insights tailored to the needs of today’s payments executive. SLF is the place to be if you’re looking to make career-long connections and stay up to date on the latest developments in the payments space.
