Washington, D.C. – The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the global trade association representing the payments technology world, announced today the 2014 ETA Strategic Leadership Forum (SLF), the premier annual event for payments’ top executives. Keynoting the exclusive event will be Frank Bisignano, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of First Data and Diane Offereins, President of Discover Payment Services. The ETA SLF will take place October 7-9 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Early registration is open now at https://electran.org/events/slf14/.
“The ETA SLF is where executives chart the future of payments through strategy-focused discussions and networking in an ideal setting,” said ETA CEO Jason Oxman. “This is the only place for frontline leaders to cut through static and engage with their executive peers. I am thrilled that Frank Bisignano and Diane Offerins, true industry luminaries, will headline the ETA SLF.”
Frank Bisignano is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the First Data Corporation. Since assuming the position, Bisignano has moved to rapidly repivot the 42-year-old company from traditional processing to a product and technology solutions provider for merchants and financial institutions. Prior to joining First Data, Bisignano was the Co-Chief Operating Officer for JPMorgan Chase and the CEO of Mortgage Banking at JP Morgan Chase.
Diane Offereins is Executive Vice President, President – Discover Payment Services, and a member of the Discover Financial Services Executive Committee. She has been with Discover since 1998 as Executive Vice President and held the title of Chief Information Officer prior to overseeing Discover’s payments networks. Prior to joining Discover, Offereins served as Senior Executive Vice President for MBNA America with responsibility for managing corporate system development.
In addition to the industry’s best networking, the ETA SLF will feature a CEO Roundtable with the leading industry innovators providing real world strategies to navigate the increasingly crowded payments landscape.
