ETA Now Accepting Nominations for 2014 ETA Star Awards
Awards program recognizes significant contributions to the payments industry
January 31, 2014 – Washington, D.C. – The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the global trade association representing the payments technology world, announced today it is accepting nominations for the 2014 ETA Star Awards, recognizing individuals and companies that have made a significant difference in the payments industry through innovation, business practices or contributions to the association. Nominations are due by Wednesday, February 19, and can be made online at www.transact14.com/etastarawards. Winners will be announced on April 9, 2014, at the TRANSACT 14 President’s Dinner, sponsored by VISA. TRANSACT 14 will take place April 8 – 10, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, and registration is open now at www.transact14.com.

ETA Star Awards categories include Business Partner of the Year, Member of the Year, Committee of the Year, Committee Volunteer of the Year, Distinguished Payments Professional, ISO of the Year, and the Technology Innovation Award. New awards added in 2014 include the Member of Congress Payment Advocate Award and Rising Star – ISO of the Year. Prior recipients include Discover Financial Payments Services EVP Diane Offereins, the ETA Mobile Payments Committee, Impact Payments Recruiting Founder and CEO Curt Hensley, Rich Consulting Founder and President Deana Rich, Discover Financial, Priority Payment Systems and ShopKeep POS.
