ETA Announces 2014 Board and Committee Leadership
Expanding Membership Confirms ETA as Hub of Activity for Payments Technology
WASHINGTON, DC ─ The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the trade association of the global payments industry, announced today the election of four new members to its Board of Directors. ETA also announced appointments to the Presidential Advisory Council, and named more than 200 payments professionals to 15 standing committees for 2014.
“Our new board and committee leadership reflects ETA’s broadened membership of more than 500 of the world’s largest payments and technology companies as ETA strengthens its policy, education and networking activities on behalf of our members,” said Jason Oxman, CEO of ETA. “Our energized volunteer leaders bring new ideas to ETA while fostering business connections and confirming ETA’s role as the place to get business done in 2014.”

Four directors were elected to a two-year term on the board:
– First Term Board Member Donald Boeding, President, Merchant Services, Vantiv
– First Term Board Member Daniel Charron, President, Chase Paymentech
– Second Term Board Member Chuck Harris, President, NetSpend, a TSYS Company
– First Term Board Member Brian Mooney, CEO, Bank of America Merchant Services
The 2014 ETA board of director officers includes:

– Board Past President Eddie Myers, President and COO, PayPros
Fitzsimmons announced new appointments to the Presidential Advisory Council, which has a non-voting seat on the ETA Board:

– Colson Hillier, VP, Precision Marketing, Verizon Wireless
– Joe Kaplan, CEO, Total Merchant Services
– OB Rawls IV, SVP and General Manager National Merchants and ISOs, First Data
– Stacy Smith, ETA CPP, SVP, Director of Operations, Capitol One Merchant Services
