ETA Welcomes New Senior Manager of Government Relations
WASHINGTON, DC ─ The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the global trade association of the payments industry, announced the addition of Rebecca Anderson, Senior Manager of Government Relations, to its policy advocacy team.
“I’m thrilled to add Rebecca to the team during such an exciting time for our industry,” said Scott Talbott, SVP of Government Affairs at ETA. “Her experience and knowledge of Capitol Hill will strengthen ETA’s ability to represent our members’ interests in DC and across the country.”
Anderson joins ETA from Congressman Tom Graves’ office, where she served as Senior Legislative Assistant focusing on issues pertaining to financial services, telecommunications, education, healthcare, housing, agriculture and veterans’ affairs. She holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
“I am excited to join ETA’s dynamic team,” said Anderson. “ETA members are bringing cutting-edge developments in payments technology to consumers, and I look forward to helping legislators understand the need for policies that foster innovation.”
