ETA 2015 Legislative and Regulatory Year in Review

With all the technological advances and data breaches, the electronic payments industry has a major area of focus for policymakers. During 2015, Federal and state lawmakers and regulators were looking at our industry to help defend against data breaches, as the originators of new payments technology, as a potential source of tax revenue, and to implement policy. Now more than ever, ETA and its members must advocate on behalf of our industry to advance good policy ideas and defeat harmful ones.
