Entrepreneurs Increasingly View Mobile Payments as Essential
Entrepreneurs with both physical and online retail stores are primary drivers of mobile payments growth. PayAnywhere reports that the ability to digitally process sales is becoming a standard expectation among today’s consumers, and entrepreneurs cite flexibility at the point of sale as one of the most appealing features of mobile payments. “Given how busy [warehouses] become … it is only fair that customers receive super-speedy service for their hard-earned purchases,” PayAnywhere says. “When salespeople can simply ring out customers on the floor with wireless card readers, it frees up lines and allows customers to walk straight out with new items in hand.” PayAnywhere says this model also applies to restaurants, where wireless readers can enhance and accelerate payment processing. However, the company says the most valuable aspect of mobile payments is its ability to help meet fluctuating customer demands. “Chief among that aim is the operation of easy and convenient payment methods, including credit card processing and mobile payment options,” PayAnywhere notes.
